Privacy Policy

RadOrigin LLC ("RadOrigin," "we," "us") is an Oregon company. This policy explains how we handle information across everything we operate: the RadOrigin website, our mailing list, and our applications — including the Soulcat Comfort App. Sections 1–9 apply to all of it; Section 10 covers the additional data that using an application involves.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what a given interaction requires:

• Mailing list. If you subscribe on our website, we collect your email address.
• Accounts. If you create an account for one of our applications, we collect your email address. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google confirms your email to us; we do not receive your Google password.
• Content you create in an application. This is the information you enter to use the app. What it consists of is described for each application in Section 10.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To send mailing-list updates you asked for, and to reply to you.
• To provide, secure, and support the applications you use.
• To process content you create, including the AI features described in Section 10, only to produce the result you requested.

We do not use your content to advertise to you, and we do not build advertising profiles.

3. Where Your Data Lives

Our applications are built to keep your data on your own device first. If you are signed in, your data is also stored in our cloud database (hosted by Supabase) so it is backed up and available across your devices. Access to that stored data is restricted to your own account.

4. AI Processing

Some application features use Google's Gemini API to turn text you write into organized results — for example, summarizing your notes or structuring your observations. When you use one of those features, the relevant text is sent to Google for processing and the result is returned to you.

We use the paid tier of the Gemini API. Under its terms, Google does not use what we send to train or improve its models, does not have people review it, and retains it only briefly for abuse detection. Even so, please avoid entering information you would not want processed by a third party.

5. Sharing You Initiate

Some applications let you email a report to someone you choose — for example, a veterinary clinic. When you do this, we generate the document, email it (through Resend) to the address you provide, and delete our copy as soon as it has been sent. We do not keep the report after delivery, and we only send it to the recipient you named.

6. Payments

If you purchase a subscription, payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe processes your card details directly; we never receive or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of your subscription status so we can provide what you paid for.

7. Service Providers

We rely on a small number of providers to operate, and share only the data each one needs for its job:

• Supabase — account sign-in, database, and file storage.
• Google (Gemini API) — AI processing of text you submit to AI features (Section 4).
• Resend — delivering emails, including mailing-list messages and reports you send.
• Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms, which we encourage you to review.

8. Data Retention

• We keep your mailing-list email until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
• We keep your account and the content you create for as long as your account is active, so the app works as you expect.
• Reports you email to a recipient are deleted from our systems right after they are sent (Section 5).
• You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time (Section 9).

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — including your account and its contents. To make a request, email privacy@radorigin.com. You can unsubscribe from mailing-list emails at any time using the link in any message.

10. Application-Specific Details

Soulcat Comfort App. Soulcat helps you track and organize care for your cat. The content you create in it can include your cat's profile, your day-to-day care observations and notes, reminder settings, treatment details, and veterinary contact information you choose to save. This is information about your pet, not medical information about you. Soulcat's AI features (Section 4) process the notes and observations you write. Its report feature (Section 5) lets you email a care summary to a veterinary clinic you specify. Soulcat does not provide diagnosis or treatment advice.

11. Cookies and Tracking

Our website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not use analytics platforms that profile you. Our applications use essential local storage on your device to keep you signed in and to hold your data; this is required for the app to function and is not used for tracking.

12. Security

We protect data in transit with encryption, restrict stored data to your own account, and limit access to files so they can only be reached by their owner. No method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information protected.

13. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
